Third $1 Million Top Prize Claimed with seven top prizes remaining
FLOWOOD, MISS. – A routine lottery purchase turned into a life-changing win for a Gulfport man who claimed a $1 million top prize on the Mississippi Lottery’s $30 Millionaire Maker scratch-off game Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The winner purchased his ticket Monday, Sept. 7, at Shell in Long Beach as part of his regular lottery purchase where he gets his favorite draw games and a scratch off. He had already experienced smaller wins on Millionaire Maker, which kept him coming back to the game. The winner said he rotates the stores where he purchases his lottery tickets, making his winning stop at Shell in Long Beach one that he won’t soon forget.
With his $1 million prize, he already has a plan for what comes next: a new vehicle and a lot of saving.
For a game that has been on the market for less than a year, Millionaire Maker has already created three millionaires. The Gulfport winner is the third player to claim a $1 million top prize since the game debuted in January 2026. Seven $1 million top prizes remain.
